Is this a subscription?

No. PetArtGen offers a one-time purchase of 1 portrait credit, valid for 30 days. One credit unlocks one finished portrait. There is nothing recurring to cancel.

What does a credit actually get me?

Credits are spent when you unlock a finished portrait in high resolution without a watermark. That unlock also includes the square, 4:5, 3:2 and phone wallpaper crops of the same portrait. Holding an unused credit also lifts the total cap on free previews, so you can keep trying — still 2 every 24 hours — until you find the one worth unlocking. The credit is spent on the portrait you choose, not on the previews.

Do I have to pay to see what my pet looks like?

Partly. You get 6 free watermarked previews in total, 2 every 24 hours, and you do not need an account for the first ones — enough to see your own pet in a style, not enough to work through every style. You only spend credits when you unlock the high-resolution file.

Do credits expire?

Purchased credits are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. The exact expiry for each purchase is shown on your credits page.

What payment methods do you accept?

Checkout is handled by Stripe. The payment methods offered there depend on what Stripe makes available for your device and region. We never see or store your card details.

What if a paid generation fails or comes out broken?

Credits are only charged after a generation succeeds, so a failed attempt does not cost you anything. If you were charged for a result that is clearly broken, contact us and we will refund the credits or the purchase. See our refund policy for the full terms.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The price shown at checkout is what you pay. There is no recurring charge, no per-download fee and nothing added later.
